Child Therapy and Parent Counseling

Children express their feelings through art and play.

Children and parents learn to communicate effectively about feelings, relationships, and behaviors.

We work together on strategies to help with problems with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Consulting with parents, teachers, and other important people may improve education planning to help children thrive at school and home.

Mindfulness and breathing exercises can help children learn to regulate mood and behaviors.

Adolescent and Young Adult Skills Training and Psychotherapy

Young adults learn skills for dealing with challenges as they explore and grow. Therapy is often a safe place to talk together about their social, emotional, and educational worlds.

Young adults learn how to navigate relationships and manage stress effectively. They may utilize mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies.

Young adults learn tools to help regulate their emotions, tolerate distress, and communicate their needs more effectively.

Parents or guardians may share their ideas and concerns. I can be an important resource to help to maintain or improve communication, to set appropriate limits, and to support your child’s growth and development.
